Designed and sculpted by Citadel in 1982, a mixture of new sculpts and some of the older FA, FS and FF ones. They only briefly appeared as Fantasy Tribe Fighters, being moved to the C01 range with the adoption of the new coding scheme in March 1983. Originally they were grouped into 4 codes FTF1-4, Fighters, Paladin, Female Fighters and Chaos Warriors, it is almost impossible to identify a specific version, even the codes scratched under the bases can be repeated. I used the sequence in which they appear in the October 1982 release flyer, which shows 119 sculpts, although there are probably more. I made up descriptive names where the original Citadel name was not clear.
The FTF range was also produced by Ral Partha in the US, and RAFM in Canada. Ral Partha continued to use the FTF code, but gradually replaced the sculpts with their often almost identical own ones. RAFM kept the sculpts in production through at least 1987.
Both Ral Partha and RAFM seem to have used the same codes for the same pieces, but their codes do not necessarily match those used by Citadel.
